MY FAVORITE EYES NOSE LIPS COVER THUS FAR!

You may or may not have heard about the new cover contest by the YG Family for TaeYang's new song "Eyes, Nose, Lips"
I've been looking through video after video, and I must say this one is one of my favorites. I may be a little bias because Sunny Jang is a very good friend of mine, but ultimately--she is very talented. Please be sure to check out her cover for the contest! Please leave like, comment, and subscribe to watch her future videos! This is her first official cover, so please don't be too hard on her!

[REVIEW] BTS (방탄소년단) - Boy In Luv (상남자) MUSIC VIDEO

Boy in Luv is the title track in their new album, "SKOOL LUV AFFAIR".
Check out the music video here:

BTS/Bangtan Boys/Bulletproof Boy Scouts are my recent discovery in the K-Pop wave; and let me begin with saying...I'm in love! They came off strong with their debut, 'No More Dream' back in September 2013, and are continuing to keep up with their 'bulletproof' image. Bangtan Boys truly deserve the title of "Rookie of the Year"

Basically, BTS are the "bad boys" in school, fighting for their girls love.

The Fashion

When the song begins (0:56) They're seen wearing a typical white dress shirt, sneakers, black pants and a thin, black neck tie. (With the exception of V and Rap Monster who are wearing a necklaces) The use of white gives off a very clean, sharp image that depicts them as young, innocent schoolboys.

ON THE FLIP SIDE, with an addition of a black jacket, and the removal of the neckties; BTS gives off a "hard" "bad boy" feel like the song suggests. This alternate outfit is seen mostly during the dramatizations in the halls showing that they're the rebellious punks in school.

The Setting

The setting is perfect. It is in an old school with flickering lights and ripped-up posters...sort of the same feel of a "ghetto" school full of bad boys.

The Choreography

As usual, BTS hit home with another hard, well executed choreography! The actual music video didn't have many scenes of the boys dancing, but I went ahead to watch their dance practice video, and was blown away!

The beginning of the dance is very casual...just them doing their own things, and talking the lyrics...then BAM! The down beat drops and all seven members hit the first three beats on point with full power. There is no such thing as half ass-ing in this choreography.

It's clear that this dance was rehearsed for hours, and it really did pay off. My favorite part of the choreography happens in the music video at 2:07 during J-Hopes rap break. He becomes the driver of a "car" that is illustrated by Bangtan. HUGE UPS to the choreographer and BTS for a great executed performance!

The Vocals

JUNG-KOOK: He really is a 'Golden Maknae'. His rapping and singing skills really show in this song. I'm very envious of him, since he is the same age as me...but shows much more talent.

V: I want to emphasize the use of V/Tae-Hyung's rough voice. In their other title tracks, V doesn't get a whole heck of amount of lines, so it makes my heart skip a beat to think he basically 'sings' the entire chorus. (He's my BTS bias) The roughness gives the song an additional layer of feeling. BTS has relatively high voices, but is well reinforced with V's deep voice showing a nice contrast of vocal styles.

RAP MONSTER: is one of my favorite Korean rappers. At (1:26) his rap impresses me since the words he raps are very similar, but he can articulate their differences. There's something that really nterests me about Nam-Joons rapping ability. He has a western style, it is low, but isn't exactly deep. It's hard to explain, but maybe that is why his voice is so interesting...

J-HOPE: I think J-Hope is the perfect candidate to rap the part at (1:38). When he raps "ABCDEFG Hakuna Matata" it is the purity and pitch of his voice is key. In reality, he is a silly, goofy guy too; which is also a reason he is perfect for those lines.

SUGA: has always been a great rapper. From his audition video, his style didn't change much. He doesn't get a huge solo in the song, which is unfortunate. His solo was great, but I felt that he was restrained from showing his entire rapping ability because he didn't have a big enough part to.

JIN: is way too underrated. Like V, he also has a deep voice. It bothers me that he doesn't get many lines, especially when he displays his talents so well. During the vocal break, you get a small taste of his vocal abilities. He has a very soft voice that I feel should be used more often.

JI-MIN: In love with his vocals! He is the one that contributes many of the stretched high vocals in the background. Ji-Min has a very clean voice, unlike the roughness of V's.

Sorry...What?

The only thing I didn't exactly like about it was that it took about 50 seconds for the actual song to start, which is somewhat understandable since they used the time to promote their other tracks; but I wasn't a huge fan of the wait.

I also am questioning when Jung-Kook walked in when Ji-Min was taking a piss, and Ji-Min gave him a smile...I still don't get it...I hear guys don't stand beside each other when they take pisses unless there's no where else...I could be wrong though

This is my first K-Pop MV review, please give me a lot of feedback! Thanks for taking your time to read my review!
